I have been interested in buildings, ever since we did perspective drawing at school, (a thousand years ago) I look for interesting buildings, for the form, shape, and colours, as well as the historic.. I particularly like to look for the old "fire mark" on buildings. This was used to signify to the fire engine crew , that the building was insured, which meant they would get paid for putting the fire out ! ! ! No fire mark….. No fire engine ! !

strange how they were first made of Lead ! !
